Le Player 4
Top-loading. The disc in plain sight. Streaming in option.
Le Player 4 reads CD, loaded from above under a sliding cover. The signal leaves in digital, and the network can be added.
A top-loading transport, in the Classica cabinet. The mechanism sits at the centre of the top plate, the disc held by a puck, visible until the cover closes over it.
CD is read in PCM 44.1 kHz. The output rate can be raised on board before the signal leaves on S/PDIF, AES/EBU or I2S, to reach the converter of your choice. A 3.9-inch display on the front.
The streaming option adds the network to the disc, on the same digital outputs: Ethernet, two USB ports for external storage, MQA renderer, PCM up to 384 kHz in 32-bit and DSD up to DSD256 in native. Disc and network then reach the converter of your choice by the same path.
