Le Player 4+
The disc, converted on board.
Le Player 4+ reads CD and converts it in the same cabinet. It also takes four external sources, and the network as an option.
A top-loading transport, in the Classica cabinet. The mechanism sits at the centre of the top plate, the disc held by a puck, visible until the cover closes over it.
Conversion happens on board, through an ES9026PRO processor. The disc is read, converted and sent out on RCA or XLR, with no intermediate link. Transport and conversion answer to the same chassis, the same supply, the same clock.
Four digital inputs open the unit to the rest of the system: S/PDIF, AES/EBU, Toslink and USB, the latter up to DSD512 in native. The streaming option adds the network, with Ethernet, two USB ports for external storage and MQA renderer. Certified Audirvāna, Qobuz Connect and JPLAY.
